I hope this doesn't mean you're about to become the next Eric Blumrich, especially since Eric (finally realizing that his 8-year campaign of BUSHHATE has had no effect on his intended target) has hung it up. Among other things, it caused him to completely abandon his art, and we don't want you to fall into the same hole. ;_;

Economic hardship seems to have political effects, in my case it led me to vote for Ronald Reagan over and over. ...I've gotten better, though.

As far as *G*U*N*Z* are concerned, I have mixed feeling about this complicated subject. Not about guns in themselves - they're human artifacts, like beer cans and the Chrysler Building and Anthrax CDs. Take away the human element and guns become chunks of metal, rusting away into the ground to become the metallic oxides and ores that they once were.

The problem with guns is in the human element, especially the part that make my Spidey sense light up. I quit going to gun shows during the recent election due to the excessive amounts of childish BS in circulation among the alleged adults present.

I've pretty much written off the Reps, but I suspect there's no place for me among the Dems - they won't understand the aesthetics of the Mauser C96 "Broomhandle" pistol that I put together from parts, my beloved Frankenmauser. Shucks.

* Back when Bubba Clinton was prez, I took the Concealed Carry class, not because I lusted to go forth heeled, but out of curiosity - I never got around to sending the forms in. The class was interesting but somewhat disillusioning and even alarming in places. Ah, well...
